PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s three Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet. It’s Huddersfield v Bournemouth, Newcastle v Man U and Southampton v Liverpool.
HUDDERSFIELD V BOURNEMOUTH
12pm We have three very interesting Premier League games this Sunday and we could see three away wins too. Huddersfield have had some success in the FA Cup, however they come into this tie off the back of five straight losses in the Premier League. Prior to the weekend’s action, they found themselves in 19th position and if they don’t turn things around quickly they could be going back down. Bournemouth have been in excellent form too so this is going to be a difficult afternoon for Huddersfield, they are unbeaten in their last seven and won four of those games. They seem to be hitting top form just at the right time to climb up the table after a poor start of the season. It’s tempting to back Bournemouth at 2.46, however the Huddersfield lay at 3.4 looks great value given the form that they are in and we’re happy to go with that.

NEWCASTLE V MANCHESTER UNITED
2.15pm This was always a great fixture in the past, and although it’s lost some bite with Newcastle going down, it’s still a more interesting fixture than most routine Premier League games. Apart from the poor performance away to Spurs, United have been rock solid in recent games. Especially at the back, they’ve kept five clean sheets from their last six Premier League games and with Newcastle labouring to score goals this season, we feel that United can keep Newcastle out here too. Under 2.5 goals is tempting at around the 1.9 mark, however with United in good form and ‘getting the job done’ against most of the lesser sides this season, the 1.68 on them is too big to turn down.

SOUTHAMPTON V LIVERPOOL
4.30pm With Liverpool buying most of the Southampton squad these days, you could be forgiven for thinking this was a testimonial! In recent seasons, Southampton have definitely become a selling club, most to Liverpool, and you always wondered what season that tactic could hurt them. That appears to be this season, as they find themselves in a fight to stay up. They got three much needed points when beating West Brom away from home last weekend, however winning games has been a real struggle this season and Liverpool could tear them apart. Liverpool arrive here having won six of their last eight away games and Southampton will definitely aim to keep things tight here – it’s hard to see Southampton not focusing on defense for most of the game and we could have a slightly boring game. Liverpool are a very tempting bet at around the 1.85 mark given the way that they have been playing this season, however we expect Southampton to really try and shut them down here and with under 2.5 goals trading as big as 2.26, we’re happy to take a chance at those odds – it looks very good value.
