WEST HAM’S FAREWELL (7.45pm TUESDAY): A must win game for United here as they sit two points behind Manchester City for fourth spot with a game in hand. United play Bournemouth at home while City will go to Swansea on the final day of the season – it’s fair to say that City will more than likely win that game, so United must win their final two games to get into the Champions League. If that happens, will Louis Van Gaal see out his contract and we won’t see Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford this summer? An interesting week ahead!

This will be West Ham’s final game at the Boleyn ground after 2,398 matches and 112 years, they’ve already sold out their 50,000 season tickets for the Olympic Stadium but there’s so much history here it will still be a sad farewell to the ground that seen Bobby Moore make his debut.

Onto the odds for this one though, and United will appeal to many at around the 2.46 mark – they have lost none of the last 14 league games against the Hammers, winning 11 of those. Indeed West Ham have failed to score in eight of the last 13 against United in the league, and United arrive in good form, they have lost just one of their last seven, and won five of their last six – the other being a draw against Premier League Champions Leicester.

Before steaming into United though, you’d have to be worried about their away form this season, they’ve managed just three wins in their last 11 away from home. They did beat West Ham here recently though, winning 2-1 in the FA Cup last month. From a betting point of view, United draw-no-bet at around the 1.77 mark could be the best value. Louis Van Gaal will probably set United up to defend, and with West Ham’s troubles at the back, that could be the difference here.

And overs in the goals market is worthy of interest too, West Ham have seen over 2.5 goals in nine of their last ten games – and while United haven’t been exactly scoring heavy, and have kept the most clean sheets in the league this season – it has been West Ham’s defense that has seen their games become so high scoring. They have conceded 19 goals in their last 10, and six of their last seven league games have seen over 3.5 goals! Over 2.5 is currently trading 1.96 and over 3.5 is 3.4 – which appear to be on a large side.
