The Andrew McNamara trained eight-year-old relishes the heavy ground and was in great form earlier this year with a 13 length win at Clonmel and then an impressive 12 length win in a Grade 3 at Cork where he beat the favourite A Toi Phil.
He steps back in trip today to two and a half miles but won over this trip on heavy ground over hurdles at Limerick last year.
He seems to face largely out of form rivals today, however even at the age of 12 Hidden Cyclone can still be a force to be reckoned with although hasn’t won over fences since 2015 and lacked a bit of sparkle at Galway last time out.
