45/1 WINNING TREBLE: SHAMROCK gave three bets yesterday and they ALL WON !!!!! 3/1 (NAP), 4/9 (NEXT BEST) and 7/1 (TREBLE) combined at SP odds of 45/1 but, as ever, better on BETDAQ.

The layers were left with egg on their faces on Sunday after a 45/1 Easter knockout blow from SHAMROCK !!!!

His three tips of the day ran in three consecutive races at Fairyhouse:

THREE OUT OF THREE !!!

NAP: Bitofapuzzle (3.20 Fairyhouse) WON 3/1
NEXT BEST: Shaneshill (3.50 Fairyhouse) WON 4/9
TREBLE: Gilgamboa (4.20 Fairyhouse) WON 7/1

2:45 REA Grimes Property Consultants Hurdle (Grade 3) (4yo, Class 1, 2m, 9 runners)

A trio of Willie Mullins trained runners in the opener including likely favourite Dicosimo with Ruby Walsh onboard. This one made all to win on debut at Gowran Park but was a rare Mullins runner that struggled at Cheltenham when only eighth to Peace And Co in the Triumph Hurdle. It was still a creditable effort for one so inexperienced and this will be easier. Main danger may come from Whiteout – the filly won well at Gowran Park last time out.

3:20 Keelings Irish Strawberry Hurdle (Grade 2) (5yo+, Class 1, 2m 4f, 9 runners)

Dedigout arrives here on the back of two Grade 2 wins: in the Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran Park and last time in the Boyne Hurdle at Navan where he was particularly impressive when beating one of today’s rivals Zaidpour by two and a half lengths. He relishes the testing ground and should be able to complete the hat-trick. Thousand Stars won this last year but was very disappointing when last seen out at Auteuil.

4:25 Rathbarry & Glenview Studs Novice Hurdle (Grade 2) (4yo+, Class 1, 2m, 10 runners)

Blair Perrone is heading up in class again but might be worth chancing after an effortless win at Gowran Park last time out where he travelled particularly well and didn’t have to be extended to beat Domesday Book by four and a half lengths. He had previously struggled when campaigned in Grade 1 and 2 races but this doesn’t look the toughest Grade 2 and certainly easier than the Grade 2 Moscow Flyer at Punchestown won by Douvan in which Blair Perrone was a well beaten fifth.

5:00 BoyleSports Irish Grand National Chase (Grade A Extended Handicap) (5yo+, 3m 5f, 30 runners)

The BETDAQ betting tells you how open this is but surely Cantlow is far too short in the betting? AP was brilliant yesterday with his two winners but at some point reality has to kick in and the fact that Cantlow is set to go off favourite is staggering. In his last four starts he has been pulled up and beaten an average of 39 lengths in the other three. He’s a bit big for me to lay though, even in the place market at around 4. It can only be a small win and place bet for me here but I thought the Henry de Bromhead trained Grand Jesture was interesting. He showed improved form to finish second to The Druids Nephew at Cheltenham and seemed to relish the hustle and bustle of a big field handicap that day.

5:35 John & Chich Fowler Memorial E.B.F. Mares Chase (Grade 3) (5yo+, Class 1, 2m 4f, 6 runners)

Vroum Vroum Mag looks a Mullins banker here. She was very impressive when winning at Limerick last time and should complete her five-timer.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Dicosimo (2.45 Fairyhouse)
NEXT BEST: Dedigout (3.20 Fairyhouse)
WIN: Blaie Perrone (4.25 Fairyhouse)
WIN AND PLACE: Grand Jesture (5.00 Fairyhouse)
