WEXFORD and GALWAY: Sunday’s Irish racing comes from both venues with a Grade 3 chase at Galway the big race of the day.

Twinlight, who had considerable ability over hurdles looks to have already transferred that ability over fences and judged on his impressive win at Listowel last time out could prove very hard to beat here despite the step-up in class. The Willie Mullins trained five-year-old is likely to adopt front running tactics again today under Ruby Walsh.

He does however face a tough rival in the shape of Argocat who also looks a smart reccuit to fences and was impressive when winning at Limerick last time out. There is little to choose between them on the BETDAQ market but I just favour Twinlight here.

The 4.40 – a Pro/Am bumper is not the type of contest I would normally select for the nap but I like the chances (and the price) of Clar Na Mionn here. The five-year-old looks progressive and has has some useful form in the context of this race and the current price of around 6 looks more than generous.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Clar Na Mionn (4.40 Galway)
NEXT BEST: Twinlight (3.40 Galway)
