GRADE 3 ACTION AT FAIRYHOUSE: SHAMROCK previews the 2.50 at Fairyhouse on Saturday – a Grade 3 over 2m 2f.
The Willie Mullins trained Pravalaguna takes a huge leap in class but might well be good enough to land the Grade 3 hurdle at Fairyhouse this afternoon on only her second start.
The mare made a winning debut in a big field at Navan in December and was value for much more than her official five and a half length winning margin.
She holds an entry for the OLBG Mares’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival so clearly is held in some regard but would need to win this well to progress to that kind of level.
Shattered Love will be a tough nut to crack. The Gordon Elliott trained runner is already proven at this level having run in Grade 3 /Listed company in each of her last three outings.
She had an easy task to win at Thurles last time out when the odds-on Asthuria fell and that one also re-appears today but she may well have been held by Shattered Love before falling.
