NAVAN DEBUTANT MAKES APPEAL: SHAMROCK’S NAP on Saturday runs in the one mile maiden at 3.55pm.
Tough card for punters to get stuck into at Navan this afternoon but beggars can’t be choosers and thankfully the card has survived the elements.
It might be worth chancing the debutant Flat To The Max in the 3.55pm. The Ger Lyons trained runner has an interesting pedigree and should be good enough to account for what looks a modest bunch.
Certainly those that have run have shown little. The Dermot Weld trained Zayriyan did show a glimmer of ability on debut at Naas but was still beaten 16 lengths and that was also on testing ground. He’s entitled to improve but will surely need to do so to figure here.
