HARVEST FESTIVAL STARTS TODAY: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the start of the Listowel Festival today with his NAP in the Kerry Group Chase at 4.50pm.
The Harvest Festival gets underway at Listowel this afternoon with a good renewal of the Kerry Group Chase at 4.50.
A small field of five but all are rated 143 or higher and it’s hard to get away from the chances of market leader The Storyteller who, even at the age of nine, seems as fresh as ever.
The Gordon Elliott trained chaser has won his last two starts at Galway which both came on soft ground but he does have winning form on good ground if you back far enough in the form book.
He’s well in at the weights here and is preferred to Paloma Blue who came back to form with a win at Wexford last time out having finished behind another of today’s runners Peregrine Run on his previous start.
