7/2 WINNING NAP TAKES SHAMROCK TO 8 WINNING NAPS FROM LAST 11: HARRY TROTTER (NAP, WON 7/2) got up on the line to win at Fairyhouse last night to give SHAMROCK his best price nap in the current sequence.
“Just, by the skin of his teeth” not my words, but those of BETDAQ tips reader Sean who left a comment on yesterday’s SHAMROCK article.
And you know what, Sean’s absolutely right. Real time I thought he had got up, freeze frame I wasn’t sure and the longer the BETDAQ photo finish betting went on I convinced myself he had been beaten !!!
Not only that, Harry Tropper also had a stewards inquiry to survive before his nose victory could be confirmed !!!!
7/2 SP as well (around 5.0 at the off on BETDAQ) – delighted with the price. It needed an extraordinary turn of events to snap the mini-sequence of OXOXOXO (where O is a winner and X a loser !!) but we found one and it’s now 8 winning naps from 11.

Fountain Of Youth will start at prohibitive odds in the opener following his promising debut at Naas.
I worry so much about the ground tonight because we have so much form on soft ground it’s guesswork with some whether they’ll handle the faster ground.
For example, I would be keen on Welsh Nayber in the maiden hurdle at 7.45 who is the clear form pick but doesn’t seem as effective on firmer ground looking back through his CV on flat and jumps.
Tough night for a NAP – but I’ve settled on The Plan Man in the 6.40 who was only denied a short head on debut by the well backed Protestant at Roscommon. We have to hope he will be as effective on the firmer surface.
Lineman from Dermot Weld’s yard is a potentially dangerous newcomer but the market signals so far have not been positive.
