5 OUT OF 6 NAPS: The naps sequence came to end an end yesterday when Time Please was beaten on the line. The quest for winners resumes at Clonmel this afternoon.
Sometimes it’s better to be beaten 10 lengths by a nose. My nap yesterday was Time Please who rallied on the line to force a photo finish and was trading as odds on FAVOURITE on BETDAQ in the photo finish market but the flip went against me.
Still it was a nice little run of 5 WINNING NAPS FROM 6.
The 3.15 at Clonmel this afternoon looks a match up between Alileo and Captain Carleton and preference is for the latter.
Certainly, if recent Kilbeggan form is to be trusted then Captain Carleton should again finish in front of the Willie Mullins trained runner.
They were third and fourth respectively and I see no reason why the six lengths should be turned around here.
