NAPS HAT-TRICK BID: SHAMROCK bids for a NAPS HAT-TRICK today after Hardback WON 8/11 on Tuesday and Understate WON 11/8 yesterday.
There’s a good night of racing ahead at Leopardstown with two Listed races on the card. Both of them have small fields but still look competitive.
In the one mile Glencairn Stakes at 7.25pm any of five runners could still go off favourite and there are only six in the race !!
Preference is for Mamba Noire on her seasonal reappearance. She was last seen finishing third to Threading in the Group 2 Lowther Stakes at York. That run came on good to soft ground but she seems equally at home on a faster surface too.
Marshall Jennings bounced back to form with a win in handicap company at Naas last time out but he has come up short in Listed company previously.
