DUNDALK GET THE SHOW BACK ON THE ROAD: Dundalk stage an evening card tonight – the first card in Ireland since Sunday.
The maiden at 6.40 tonight should be fought out between the two with experience who are closely matched in the BETDAQ market.
Mick Halford’s once raced Shannon Soul showed ability here on debut when fourth of eight to Indian Tomahawk. With normal improvement combined with the step up to a mile he should go close but faces a potentially tough rivals here.
Solomon Northup has been tried in much higher company so far – making his debut at Leopardstown and then finishing last of six in the Beresford Stakes at the Curragh. He was narrowly beaten by Great Dancer over course and distance last time out and should take a lot of beating here.
Of the debutants, nothing is so far attracting interest in the market.
