SLIGO OPENER: SHAMROCK’S NAP runs in the opening claimer on tonight’s Sligo card.
Mutaabeq couldn’t have been presented with a better chance to make it two out of two in the 6.30 at Sligo tonight.
The Dermot Weld trained runner was very impressive on debut when winning his maiden at Ballinrobe and now has just two rivals tonight (although effectively a match as Land Of Grace was beaten 48 lengths on debut) but will be priced prohibitively.
At much better odds, Sbraase, trained by BETDAQ brand ambassador Gavin Cromwell can follow up on his Wolverhampton success nine days ago by taking the opening claimer.
He remains a maiden on the turf but should only have to reproduce his course and distance third from June to land what looks a very weak contest.
Dragon Girl can be quirky but has place prospects if she reproduces some of her best form.
