TOTTENHAM V BOURNEMOUTH

2pm We have a Premier League Super Sunday right out of the top drawer on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE this week! There’s no doubt all eyes will be on Manchester United v Arsenal in the prime time TV slot, but we kick off the day with Spurs hosting Bournemouth in what should be a very entertaining game. Both sides like to play an open and attacking brand of football, and they both concede plenty of chances too. Spurs had a big setback on Thursday night when losing 1-0 to AZ Alkmaar away from home in the Europa League; they have plenty of work to do in London next week. Bournemouth have been one of the most entertaining clubs to watch in the Premier League this season – they have the fourth best attacking figure with an average xG created of 1.71 and they also have a reasonably high average xG conceded at 1.54. With an attacking figure like that, it’s no surprise they have an outside shot at a European spot which would be a brilliant achievement for Bournemouth. We have a very open betting heat here – Bournemouth come into the game as the favourites at 2.56 with Spurs 2.74 and the draw is 3.95 at the time of writing.

This is probably going to be one of those games where the UK media really try to get to Ange Postecoglou in the build-up to the game after losing 1-0 on Thursday night. There’s no doubt that he is a man under immense pressure, but Spurs have suffered with a huge amount of injuries this season and their under-lining numbers aren’t too bad considering. They have the fifth best attacking figure just behind Bournemouth. The main has been at the back though; their average xG conceded has been increasing a lot lately and as we all know, something “Spursy” is never too far away. I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market here because this game absolutely screams goals – Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.47 with Both Teams To Score trading a couple of ticks shorter at 1.42. I couldn’t put anyone off Over 2.5 goals at 1.47, but I’m actually going to go for a bigger price here and more goals. Over 3.5 goals is trading 2.1 and that looks a cracking bet considering how open both of these sides have been at the back – plus mistakes at the back are never far away. We should have a very entertaining start to the day.

The Striker Says:
Three points win Over 3.5 goals at 2.1 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE

MANCHESTER UNITED V ARSENAL

4.30pm We finish Super Sunday with undoubtedly the highlight of the weekend! What was once a title decider, I’m not sure what you would call it now – Arsenal are obviously going through a solid few years now under Arteta but they haven’t had what it takes to win trophies. Manchester United are a shadow of their former selves, and there’s no return to glory in sight. It’s a sign of the times at Old Trafford that this is now a fixture that Arsenal will come into expecting to win – winning at Old Trafford used to be an achievement for any Premier League side; now it is routine almost. Arsenal come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.79 with Manchester United 5.5 and the draw is 3.75 at the time of writing. United did well on Thursday night to pick up a 1-1 draw away to Real Sociedad, and that puts them in a reasonably good spot with the second leg here next week. However, United have been playing better away from home under Ruben Amorim. We all know how flaky this United squad is, but given that this is a big game they will very likely turn up here. They knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup earlier in the season, and then of course you have the performances against Manchester City and Liverpool as well.

I would expect a good performance from United – unless of course Arsenal score early and the heads go down – then we might see a big Arsenal win. However, even with that being said, I wouldn’t be rushing to take the 1.79 on Arsenal here. While United have been very poor this season, and Amorim simply doesn’t have the squad to carry out his system, as I said above I do feel they’ll turn up for this game – it’s just generally what they have done over the past few seasons. Arsenal have struggled to get over the line in games recently too, and the title race is all but done. I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market here to be honest – I was surprised to see that the market is expecting a cagey game. Over 2.5 goals looks big at 2.32 and Both Teams To Score is appealing at 2.12 too. Arsenal have been rock solid at the back – they have the best defensive figure in the Premier League – but I can’t see them coming here to sit back. We know United will give them chances too, and I’m very happy to take the 2.32 on Overs – that looks a nice value play.

The Striker Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 2.32 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
