BUNDESLIGA / LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Friday’s games between GLADBACH v DORTMUND and LEVANTE v REAL VALLADOLID both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
GLADBACH V DORTMUND
7.30pm After some domestic Cup action we are back with our usual Friday Night Football from Europe with one Bundesliga game and one La Liga game! We start with a cracker from the Bundesliga as Gladbach host Dortmund. Gladbach have been catching up with the sides in 4th, 5th and 6th after four games without a loss; winning three of those including beating Bayern Munich 3-2. Dortmund dropped further points midweek when losing to Bayer Leverkusen and it looks like they won’t get close to their impressive season last time. They were unlucky in the game prior, but they could only draw 1-1 with Mainz. Gladbach play a very open game, and it will be interesting to see can Dortmund take advantage of that.
I expect a very entertaining game here. I think we’ll see goals and I have to go with over 2.5 goals at 1.5. When I first clicked into the market on BETDAQ Betting Exchange I was very happy to lay Dortmund at 2.3 because I feel that’s very short. However, I feel the overs bet offers more value at the odds because it’s hard not to see goals between these two. I can see a very similar game to Dortmund’s game against Leverkusen midweek and although that had three goals, looking at xG it could have easily been more. Gladbach play an end-to-end game and you only have to look at their xG figures to see they give away a host of chances while creating a lot too.

LEVANTE V REAL VALLADOLID
8pm We move to La Liga to finish the evening as Levante host Real Valladolid. We had some crunch games at the bottom of the table midweek and this is another one, although Levante won’t like me saying that as they are happily in mid-table. They are only three or four points away from big danger though and a win for Valladolid would be massive. A win for Levante would see them move away from the danger zone and leave Real Valladolid in a tricky position. Both sides were involved in 2-2 draws on Tuesday night and to be honest they have both been playing reasonable football lately. I don’t think either deserves to go down despite being in the mix at the moment.
For me there’s a standout bet in this game, and it’s over 2.5 goals at 2.05. I’m shocked this is odds against. Valladolid have had plenty of goals in their recent games, albeit in the domestic Cup but Levante have been playing end-to-end football for quite a while now. As I said, both sides had 2-2 draws midweek but Levante have seen both teams score a lot this season and looking at their xG shows they play a very open game. They concede a lot of chances which should help Valladolid score and Valladolid should concede here too. I’d have overs odds on and the 2.05 looks excellent value.
