FRIDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews CAGLIARI v JUVENTUS and ATHLETIC BILBAO v GRANADA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
CAGLIARI V JUVENTUS
7.45pm We have two cracking games for Friday night football from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE from Serie A and La Liga! We kick off the evening in Serie A as Cagliari host Juventus, and Cagliari will be hoping the poor run of results continues for Juventus. It feels like a while ago now that Juventus were involved in the title race, but the wheels have well and truly come off. Anyone who was a fan of xG was expecting Inter to pull away at some stage, but it happened very quickly and dramatically. Juventus have only managed two wins from their last eleven Serie A games; at the start of that run they lost 1-0 to Inter Milan and it’s been curtains in the title race since. To be honest Juventus should be more concerned with hanging onto their place in the top four at this stage; however, they have a nice eight point cushion on Roma there – Roma do have a game in hand though. Cagliari are one of the many sides in the Serie A relegation battle this season, and they start the matchday sitting four points away from the bottom three. They actually looked in massive trouble at Christmas but they have turned things around since February.
They’ve only lost once in their last eight Serie A games, and they even managed to pick up a draw away to Inter last weekend. This should be a good test for Juventus; and I’m sure we’ll have some big opinions either side of the book on the Juventus price. Juventus come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.8 with Cagliari 5.4 and the draw is 3.75 at the time of writing. Cagliari are obviously a limited side, their place in the table reflects that, but they have been a lot more solid with home advantage this season. On the home form table they are 13th for example, while on the away form table they are in the bottom three. Juventus have managed to grind out a lot of results away this season, but they are marginally conceding more chances than they are creating and they are without a win in their last five away games. I was surprised to see them trading as short as 1.8 for this one given Cagliari obviously have good momentum at the moment, and Juventus are worth laying at the odds in my opinion.
The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Juventus to beat Cagliari at 1.8 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ATHLETIC BILBAO V GRANADA
8pm We move over to La Liga to finish Friday night as Athletic Bilbao host Granada. There’s no doubt that Bilbao are definitely still riding the wave after winning the Copa del Rey, but they still have work to do in the La Liga top four race! After missing out on a European spot by one place for the last two seasons, a top four finish would be incredible – the reality is their level is Europa League but for the time being they can fight Atletico Madrid and see what happens. It hasn’t been a good recent run in that regard. After losing to Real Madrid they then drew 1-1 with Villarreal last weekend at home – you can obviously forgive them losing away to Real but the Villarreal result was a big blow. They now start this matchday four points behind Atletico Madrid – they are pretty certain of that fifth spot however as they have a seven point cushion on Real Sociedad in sixth. This is an excellent chance to notch up three points because at this stage of the season, Granada are just going through the motions. They sit in the relegation zone with just 17 points from their 31 games – they are nailed on to go down to the Segunda now.
Granada did manage to win last weekend though; they beat Alaves with home advantage. They are still miles adrift though; they are eleven points behind Celta Vigo in 17th and they just aren’t closing that gap. As you would expect, Athletic Bilbao come into the game as the odds on favourites. They are trading as short as 1.3 with Granada 13.5 and the draw is 6.2 at the time of writing. Granada have been absolutely woeful away from home this season; they’ve only managed two points away from home all season! You can understand why Bilbao are very short here; Granada have an average xG created of under 1.0 away from home and Bilbao have been exceptional at home all season. They have an average xG created of 1.72 and an average conceded of just 1.06. I like a couple of options here; Bilbao -1.5 goals at 1.84 and Both Teams Not To Score at 1.7. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet, but I feel the best value is Bilbao to cover the handicap.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Atheltic Bilbao -1.5 goals to beat Granada at 1.84 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
