NORTH MACEDONIA V ENGLAND

7.45pm A new week begins on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE as we close in on the end of the Euro 2024 Qualifying Group stage. There is still a tonne of outcomes as regards to playoff positions, but we have England in action on Monday as they travel to take on North Macedonia. England come into this game trading as the overwhelming favourites – they are trading as short as 1.17 at the time of writing. Anything bar a comfortable England win will be a massive shock, but if you do indeed fancy a massive upset then North Macedonia are 21.0 with the draw at 9.0. This one is going to be about how many goals England can score rather than will they win in my opinion. There’s no prizes for tipping 1.17 shots, but they are a nice addition to any Acca this week on the qualifiers. North Macedonia did manage to hold Italy to a 1-1 draw here in this Group however; and remember they managed to knock them out in the World Cup playoffs as well – they have definitely become a bogey team for Italy! England have been a level or two above Italy recently though, and Gareth Southgate can opt to rest a few players here and still get a result.

With England trading so short, the focus here will be on the goal and handicap markets. England absolutely hammered North Macedonia 7-0 when they had home advantage earlier in the Group, but with top spot already in the bag Gareth Southgate has the option to see some of the new or younger players here. England were trading even shorter on Friday night at home to Malta, but they only managed two goals in a 2-0 win. Southgate made some changes, but it was still a pretty strong England side – you’d have to be disappointed with only two goals. It must be a reasonably hard situation for the major England players here; they have nothing to play for – it would be actually better to name a completely different XI in my opinion. I feel the best option here is too stay away from the England goals angle – they could easily score five or six but at the same time where is the motivation. I think they will control the game again like Friday without getting out of first or second gear and Both Teams Not To Score looks the best bet at 1.57.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.57 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

NORTHERN IRELAND V DENMARK

7.45pm We move over to H to finish the evening as Northern Ireland host Denmark. Unfortunately for Northern Ireland, this has been a terrible qualifying campaign and they went into this International break already eliminated. This is actually an interesting Group situation – Denmark top the Group as expected but Slovenia currently sit in second place. However, the way the rankings work out they need to finish in the top two to get through as they won’t get a playoff spot. Kazakhstan are only one point behind them, and they already have a playoff spot in the bag – those two sides meet tonight too in a game that should have plenty of drama. Denmark come into this game as the odds on favourites, not surprising given how poor Northern Ireland have been. Denmark are 1.67 with Northern Ireland 5.4 and the draw is 4.0. There’s a huge gulf in class between the sides here, but it does definitely feel like a game for small stakes given the situation. Denmark are certain to go through, and then Northern Ireland have nothing to play for either. Their performance away to Finland on Friday was very poor, and they were hammered 4-0.

Northern Ireland have always been more comfortable at home compared to away, and most of their better performances have come at home. Lately though they have been playing to a pretty poor standard – every Nations League has been a disaster so far, and that hasn’t helped with their playoff situation here. They nearly got relegation, but to be honest it might have been better if they did because they might top the Group below and get a playoff spot next time! It’s hard to see past the Denmark win here, and the 1.67 does make a lot of appeal. Denmark did have to grind out a 1-0 win when they had home advantage against Northern Ireland, and they haven’t been blowing sides away in this Group. Especially away from home; they only scored twice against San Marino for example. Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.8 and I feel this the best option here for a small bet; it offers a little more value than the Denmark win.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 1.8 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
