BUNDESLIGA/LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Saturday’s games between BAYERN MUNICH V STUTTGART, CELTA VIGO V REAL MADRID, SCHALKE V GLADBACH and REAL VALLADOLID V SEVILLA all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
BAYERN MUNICH V STUTTGART
2.30pm We have an excellent Saturday in Europe and with all football bets 0% commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange, we should have a cracking day ahead! We start the day in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich hosting Stuttgart. With RB Leipzig dropping points last weekend, Bayern are back in a commanding position at the top of the table but they can’t ease off. They have been in unstoppable form since their little blip after winning the UEFA World Club Cup and have now scored 18 goals in their last five games in all competitions. They breezed past Lazio in the Champions League to set up a massive clash with PSG in the Quarter Final after the draw was made on Friday.
Stuttgart will be no pushovers, and they come into this game unbeaten in their last five. They have had a relatively easy fixture list though as two of those wins came against Schalke and Koln down towards the bottom of the table. It’s hard to see anything bar a Bayern win here, and the market agrees with them trading 1.25. I feel that’s a little short as Stuttgart have played reasonably good football this season – although it’s hard to see them actually stopping Bayern from winning. The market is expecting goals here, and I feel the value is with unders. I can see Stuttgart making life a little difficult for Bayern, and under 3.5 goals is worth a small investment at 2.44.
The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 3.5 goals at 2.44 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

CELTA VIGO V REAL MADRID
3.15pm We move to La Liga next as Real Madrid continue their bid to catch Atletico Madrid. After only managing a draw with Atletico towards the start of the month, they have had two decent wins – one in La Liga and one in the Champions League where they will play Liverpool next. Atletico dropped further points with a draw in their game in hand, so that has opened the door for Barcelona and Real Madrid again. Atletico just can’t seem to slam the door shut! The task for Real is simple – they just have to keep winning and hope the gap closes. They have fallen behind Barcelona now too, so any further points dropped will see them out of the title race.
Celta Vigo have been a pretty average mid-table side this season. They started this round of fixtures in 10th position, xG puts them a little higher into 7th, and that’s a fair reflect of their form this season. They should have a go crack at Real here but I like the Real win here at 1.79. I know they have let punters down a lot this season, but Celta Vigo are there for the taking at the moment. They haven’t been creating a lot lately and they conceded an xG of 3.03 against Huesca who are bottom of the table recently. Real have been very impressive in the Champions League and if they can bring that kind of performance midweek here they should blow away this Celta Vigo side.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Real Madrid to beat Celta Vigo at 1.79 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

SCHALKE V GLADBACH
5.30pm This might not be the most glamourous tie today, but it’s certainly one of the more interesting situations! The Gladbach powers that be must have been scratching their heads this week as Dortmund announced the Gladbach managers Marco Rose as their new boss for next season. That comes into the middle of a terrible run of form from Gladbach, when he was surely close to being sacked. It’s a remarkable situation, and one wonders whether or not he just should go now. I can’t wait to see what type of performance Gladbach put in here. There’s no getting away from the fact that Gladbach have been very poor lately, but they simply have to beat this Schalke side.
Schalke broke a long losing run a while back, but they have gone back to their ways since. They are nailed to the bottom of the Bundesliga and certain to go down – indeed, they’ve only managed ten points in 25 games. Aside from their recent 0-0 draw against Mainz who are in a relegation battle, they have conceded 14 goals from three of their last four games. I know Gladbach are on a long losing run themselves but I have to take the 1.48 on offer here. I’m happy to keep stakes in check given the situation, but as long-term readers will know it’s never a bad idea to go against Schalke and Gladbach should have enough class to win here.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Gladbach to beat Schalke at 1.48 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

REAL VALLADOLID V SEVILLA
8pm We move back to La Liga to finish off Super Saturday as Real Valladolid host Sevilla. At this stage of the season, Valladolid are in a position where they need points. Every game is massive when you’re in 16th position, just three points away from the bottom three. Even though Huesca start the weekend last they are only six points behind Valladolid too, so there’s still a lot to play for with many sides involved. I would suggest Valladolid are the last side to worry in 16th, with Getafe two points ahead of them looking reasonably safe. So, Valladolid need some points to settle the nerves and while they are unbeaten in their last three, Sevilla have been rock solid this season.
Looking at the xG figures, it’s pretty clear why Valladolid are down towards the bottom of the table. They simply don’t create enough chances. It’s very rare you see an xG of over 1.5 from them, and their best bet tonight seems to be to keep the game as tight as possible. That’s probably a good tactic against Sevilla, who can sometimes start slow. Sevilla suffered a dip in form recently, but they did have to play Barcelona twice. It was disappointing to see them lose to Dortmund in their Champions League game, but they have bounced back with two wins since. It’s all about the odds here and Sevilla look ten ticks too big at 1.92. They will outclass this Valladolid side who don’t create enough – I feel Valladolid’s best chance is a draw, but Sevilla can out score them to win.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Sevilla to beat Real Valladolid at 1.92 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
