TUESDAY NIGHT LA LIGA: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Tuesday’s La Liga games between ALAVES v ELCHE and VILLARREAL v CADIZ both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

ALAVES V ELCHE

6pm We have a busy fixture list in La Liga this week and we start with two very big games towards the bottom of the table on Tuesday night. We kick the evening off in the early game with Alaves hosting Elche. Last season, these two finished in 16th and 17th so they will know the pressure is on them to stay up. Elche will be reasonable happy with their start to the season with ten points from ten games, but Alaves are sitting in the bottom three at the moment. They had a massive win at the winning over Cadiz who play later, and another win here would see them jump over Cadiz. Elche are a little higher in the table than their performances deserve but make no mistake – both these sides will be in a relegation battle this season. Elche are just a little higher up the table, but everything can change with one bad result given how close it is.

We have had some dramatic La Liga relegation battles over the last few years, and this year is setting up to be the same with plenty of clubs involved. This is a proper six pointer for relegation, so let’s get stuck into the odds on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. Alaves are clear favourites, and obviously having home advantage in these games is a huge factor. Alaves have definitely kept their games tighter this season compared to Elche – only two of Alaves’ games have seen over 2.5 goals and one of them was against Real Madrid too. Elche give away way more chances than Alaves, and I feel that will the difference here. However, the market is expecting a low scoring affair with under 2.5 goals at 1.52 and I agree with that. The bet I like is Both Teams Not To Score at 1.75 – neither create a lot, particularly Elche and both will know this a massive game. I can see a very cagey affair.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.75 with BETDAQ Exchange.

VILLARREAL V CADIZ

8.30pm Next we have a very interesting market. Villarreal are heavy favourites to beat Cadiz, but Villarreal have been underperforming this season. The Europa League Champions slipped down to 13th after the weekend round of fixtures and it looks like they will be missing out on European football for next season at the moment. They face a Cadiz side who lost a huge game at the weekend against Alaves, and they come into this game in 17th. If Alaves win the earlier game, they will actually start this game in the relegation zone. I felt Cadiz made an excellent start to life in La Liga last season, and it would be a shame to see them go down this season. They are definitely in trouble though, and need to turn things around quickly. Cadiz never really created a huge amount of chances, they usually just grind out results.

They were very unlucky to lose against Alaves though – they lost 2-0 but created an xG of 2.27 which was their highest this season. They managed a 0-0 draw with Barcelona this season too, and could have argued that they should have won the game too. They need games to be close, so they can grind out a win, and with Villarreal not creating a lot they might actually get their ideal conditions here. Villarreal’s xG figures going forward have been largely unimpressive this season and you can see why they are in the bottom half of the table. They have created figures of 1.45, 0.63, 0.40, 1.84, 3.0, 0.82, 2.68, 0.63 and 0.56. Obviously they are going to have good games, but there’s a lot of games under 1 there for my liking. I expect a reasonably close game here, and Villarreal look way too short at 1.42. They will probably outclass this Cadiz side, but the odds are wrong and the Villarreal lay is the value bet.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Villarreal to beat Cadiz at 1.42 with BETDAQ Exchange.
