WEDNESDAY LA LIGA: The Ultra previews Wednesday’s matches between ATLETICO MADRID v GRANADA and OSASUNA v REAL MADRID both including a recommended BETDAQ bet.
ATLETICO MADRID V GRANADA
6pm The action continues in Europe on Wednesday night and we focus on La Liga on BETDAQ Betting Exchange with two cracking games! It’s a big night with both Madrid sides in action, and we kick the evening off with Atletico Madrid hosting Granada. After a shock loss to Mallorca in between their Champions League Quarter-Final games with Manchester City, Atletico had opened the door again for Real Betis in the top four race. Thankfully for Atletico, they got back to winning ways at the weekend and Real Betis could only manage a draw with Real Sociedad. That means Atletico have a three point advantage again – there isn’t much between the sides at all when you look at the goal difference though, so Atletico really can’t afford any more shock losses. I’m sure there will be a little bit more drama before the season finishes – it’s been a pretty good race for the top four this season! Granada come into this game under immense pressure in the relegation battle – it looked like they had moved away, but we’ve had a lot of wins recently from Cadiz and Levante, as well as Mallorca getting three points against Atletico Madrid.
Once again the relegation race is going to go right down the wire, and I’m sure Granada will come here with the idea of putting XI men behind the ball and hopefully getting a draw. Given that Atletico haven’t been blowing sides away this season, that idea isn’t a bad one – it’s just a case of are they good enough to get a result. The market is very confident on the Atletico win with the home side trading 1.32 at the time of writing. While Granada have been very poor in their last two games, conceding eight goals in 4-1 and 4-2 losses, I still wouldn’t be putting Atletico into a BETDAQ Multiple as a banker. As I said, they just haven’t been creating a huge amount – their average xG this season in La Liga is 1.7 which is below the top four standard compared to the rest of the league! That being said, this really should be a home win; it’s just how you want to play it. Granada have been conceding goals for fun which does worry me going into this game, but a small play on under 2.5 goals is recommended here. That allows for a 1-0 or 2-0 Atletico win, and I feel that’s where the game will go.
The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 2.2 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

OSASUNA V REAL MADRID
8.30pm Next we have Osasuna hosting Real Madrid. It was a fantastic weekend for Real Madrid as they recorded a 3-2 win over Sevilla, and then Barcelona lost to Cadiz on Monday night meaning they have extended their advantage to 15 points at the top of La Liga. They are running away with the title now, which obviously helps a lot as they can focus on the Champions League Semi-Final they have coming up against Manchester City – that’s going to be a fascinating tie, and Real Madrid will go into it as outsiders too. To be brutally honest, Real Madrid have been gifted the title in La Liga this season – Barcelona had all the drama with Messi and their board, Atletico started very slowly and have been average. It was left to Sevilla to mount a challenge, but as I said a few times this season Real Madrid would have never been afraid of Sevilla. You still have to give credit to Real Madrid though, you can only beat what’s in front of you and they have done the job this season. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Real rotate some players in La Liga now given the 15 point advantage, but the way the fixture list falls means that they don’t have a game this week before they play away to Manchester City next Tuesday. With that in mind, we shouldn’t worry about Real naming a weak side here, but it’s something that I would be aware of over the next few weeks with Real – keep an eye on that team news.
The 1.69 makes a lot of appeal on Real here. Osasuna are your average mid-table La Liga side, and Real usually cruise to wins in these games. Osasuna have had a few impressive home results recently, but over the course of the season their home form hasn’t been that strong. They have only managed 21 points from 16 games, and sit towards the bottom of the home form table. Their performances recently have been very up-and-down; for example they conceded an xG of 4.41 against Real Betis and then created an xG of 3.01 against Levante. Perhaps it is a reflection of where the sides are in the table. Their two most impressive performances have come against sides in the relegation battle, while they have been hammered by Real Betis and Barcelona. They did manage to beat Villarreal here at the start of March though which is eye-catching and that makes me reduce my stakes here, but it’s Real Madrid all the way at 1.69 for me. There’s a big gulf in class between the sides here, and I’d have Real a couple of ticks shorter – perhaps even at least 1.6.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Real Madrid to beat Osasuna at 1.69 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
