Tonight’s card is made up of four tricky finals and I’m struggling to dig up a rare gem like I did on the last two Sky cards. Stakes are minimum tonight!!!
A quick overview of the finals.
The first final 8.34 The Angel of the North Oaks Final is a race full of early speed and I think Trap 1 Bridge Ruth would be a lay around 2.5, she would trap better middle and Tp 6 Airforce Diva could be a value alternative.
The Great North Run Final 8.49 Trap 2 Farloe Tango will be outpaced either early or the middle part of the race, playing catch up. Didn’t look comfortable at the corners in the heats at Newcastle and at around 3.2, there’s plenty of opposition to him.
The Northern Puppy Final at 9.04, I’m not sure the fav Trap 1 Swift Keith will like Trap 1, it came out of the middle in the semi’s better than it came out of red in round 1. I rather like Trap 4 Droopys London, well drawn and could capitalise from early crowding as 3,2 and 1 will be heading for the rail.
The main event The All England Cup Final at 9.19 should go to Trap 1 Pay Freeze 11 out 12 in the UK.Where Trap 1s are concerned tonight i sound like a broken record but the trap is the only thing that would beat him.He should add to his Steel City Cup where he was unbeaten.
