WEEK AHEAD: It will be a highly entertaining week for football, and tennis lovers alike as the Premier League action continues and the first Grand Slam of the year commences in the Australian sunshine. For those unable to make the trips, there is no need to fret, as all of the action will be live throughout the week.
MONDAY
Starting us off with a bang on Monday, the Australian Open action will be live throughout the day on Amazon Prime, starting at midnight and continuing for the whole 24 hours. There are a lot of fan favourites and potential tournament winners in action, so don’t miss a minute! The week’s football kicks off with a clash between Port Vale and Peterborough in League One at 20:00 on Sky Sports, and then for the NFL fans, the Dallas Cowboys are in action against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 01:15 (Sky Sports).
TUESDAY
Tuesday continues with a dose of FA Cup action as Wolves and Liverpool face off at Molineux for the replay in their FA Cup tie (19:45, BBC). WEDNESDAY
There is more FA Cup action on Wednesday as Leeds and Cardiff meet at Elland Road for their replay after Sunday’s late drama that saw Leeds come from two behind (19:45, ITV). Here’s hoping the teams continue where they left off! Crystal Palace v Manchester United is the high-profile matchup of the evening as the two collide in the Premier League at 20:00 on Sky Sports. Kilmarnock are also in action as they face Rangers in the Scottish Premiership at 20:00, also on Sky Sports. Catch the Australian Open from 00:00 on Amazon Prime as it progresses.
THURSDAY
The golf fans are in for some entertainment on Thursday as the Abu Dhabi Championship gets underway, though it will likely only be for the hardcore fans as it tees off at 03:30 on Sky Sports. The afternoon sees more golf as the American Express also gets going at 16:30 on Sky Sports. Arguably the tie of the week is Manchester City v Tottenham which kicks off at 20:00 on Sky Sports in a massively important game for both sides. SATURDAY
The weekend comes around with a busy Saturday, keeping us on our toes with numerous sports to choose from throughout. We start with the Abu Dhabi Championship continuing with its third day from 05:00 on Sky Sports, before we are taken into the afternoon by a juicy clash in the WSL between Manchester City and Aston Villa (11:30, Sky Sports). After that, Coventry City v Norwich in the Championship is accompanied by Liverpool v Chelsea, one of the highlights of the weekend, both at 12:30 on Sky Sports and BT Sport, respectively.
