WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: Another busy evening of World Cup Qualifiers on Monday. We preview three games with a recommended BETDAQ bet including ENGLAND v SLOVAKIA.
ENGLAND V SLOVAKIA
7.45pm England, as expected, breezed past Malta on Friday night but they’ll face a tougher task against Slovakia tonight. However, England’s record at home is phenomenal and they are unbeaten in their last 22 games here! Indeed, looking at their last 12 home qualifiers – they have only conceded once – that just shows how strong they have been at home. Slovakia are their main challengers in Group F, sitting only two points behind them in second, however we must recognize the gulf in class between the sides here and we feel that England certainly offer value at around the 1.44 mark, which looks a few ticks too big, especially factoring in their strong home record, and that 1.44 will be out best value bet here.

NORTHERN IRELAND V CZECH REPUBLIC
7.45pm Germany are bossing Group C with a perfect seven from seven, and that means that tonight is a massive game between these two sides for the battle for second. With Northern Ireland already seven points ahead of the Czech Republic, they are nearly there, but a win here would guarantee second. We have a very open market, with the match odds at the time of writing; Northern Ireland 2.84, Czech Republic 2.88 and the draw 3.2. Obviously given the Group situation, Czech Republic need a win and Northern Ireland would probably shake on a draw before kicking a ball. This may set up some very interesting tactics, as Northern Ireland possibly sit back to start with and Czech Republic attack. Looking at the Northern Ireland home record though, we strongly feel that they offer value at 2.84 – they’ve won seven of their last eight at home and played some decent sides, Czech Republic will have to attack and this could leave plenty of gaps at the back late on. At 2.84, Northern Ireland look too big and have to be backed.

SCOTLAND V MALTA
7.45pm This should be a straightforward home win for Scotland, and they currently trade at 1.08 in the match odds market. They haven’t scored too many goals at home though, and with Malta expected to come and put 11 men behind the ball, the interesting market is the goals market! As we noted before the Malta v England game, Malta have been keeping the scores down recently – however England are obviously very strong and we can forgive them losing 4-0 to them. With Scotland lacking for goals in their recent home games – the 1-1s against Canada and Lithuania particularly disappointing – Malta may be able to frustrate Scotland and the home fans here, certainly early on, and we like the look of under 3.5 at 1.95 which looks good value.
