ANA’S BACK: Analifet, ante-post favourite for the JCB Triumph Hurdle, set for Leopardstown spin.
Irish racing returns at Dundalk on Friday.
Meanwhile we continue to look ahead to next week and Analifet, ante-post favourite for the JCB Triumph Hurdle, could reappear in the Knight Frank Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown.
The Willie Mullins-trained juvenile is unbeaten in three starts and could attempt to extend that sequence to four in the Grade One contest on December 26.
A winner in France on debut, she made a winning start for the County Carlow handler when scoring at Punchestown by nine lengths in November before landing a Grade Three with similar ease earlier this month.
A total of seven entries have been revealed for the contest and they include stablemates Gitane Du Berlais – a winner at Aintree last time – and Noble Inn who has chased home Analifet on both of her starts.
Gordon Elliott has handed entries to Arzembouy Premier, who has yet to run in Ireland, and Clarcam while the potential runners are completed by Guitar Pete and Henry Higgins.
