BRACELET STAKES 1000 GUINEAS CLAIM: Aidan O’Brien’s Bracelet has shortened to around 14 on BETDAQ after her win in the Leopardstown 1,000 Guineas Trial Stakes.
My Sunday NAP, Balansiya, was sent off the 9/10 favourite for the Leopardstown 1,000 Guineas Trial Stakes yesterday but in the end was no match for Aidan O’Brien’s Bracelet who is now trading around 14 on BETDAQ for the QIPCO 1000 Guineas at Newmarket on 4 May.
Bracelet only beat two home on debut at Naas but went on to win her maiden at Leopardstown easily.
On her return to the course yesterday she made her challenge under Joseph O’Brien a furlong out and came to collar Balansiya who had travelled particularly well during the race.
Aidan O’Brien said: “She did it nicely and she’s a filly we think will stay well in time. We’re delighted with her and all things being well, she might go to the Guineas (at Newmarket). I’ll speak to the boys (owners).”
