GROUP ACTION AT GOWRAN PARK: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the Group 3 race on the Gowran Park card this afternoon for fillies.

The big race at Gowran Park this afternoon is the Denny Cordell Lavarack & Lanwades Stud Fillies Stakes at 3.55 and it’s no surprise to see the Dermot Weld trained Brooch trading as the red hot favourite on BETDAQ.
She stormed home by nine and a half lengths to win on debut at Galway and then coped with the step-up in class to Listed level with a win at Killarney last time out.
However, this is another rung up the ladder today and she has some much more experienced rivals to cope with.
Odeliz could be a big danger to the favourite. The Karl Burke trained raider is already a proven performer at Group level and comes into this on the back of a good second to Fintry in the Atalanta Stakes at Sandown Park.
