20 WINNING BANKERS FROM 27: Daqman landed three of the seven BETDAQ races at Doncaster yesterday, including winning banker number 20 from 27 for around a 75% strike-rate. His winners in race order were:

WON 3-1 Saints And Sinners
WON 2-9 The Pirate’s Queen
WON 4-1 Out Of The Mist

Look out for his analysis of more BETDAQ-sponsored races on the Kempton Park card this evening, featuring the £40,000-guaranteed ‘Cash Out On The BETDAQ+ App Listed Stakes’.

THE CHELTENHAM MONEY-BOX: The winning banker yesterday, The Pirate’s Queen, is the last one in the series under the existing plan of ‘buying money’ for Bull’s Eye Bets. Look out for new-style Money-Box Bankers for the weeks up to Cheltenham.

JACKPOT TARGET FOR MONEY-BOX BETS

The jumps season is all about Cheltenham. And this column wants to arrive there with money to spend, intent on hitting the jackpot with individual bets to win 100 and 200 points at the festival.

‘Buying money’ with bankers has worked big time for spending on Bull’s-Eye Bets, which are staked to win 50 points, often in the challenge with Pricewise (overall score Daqman 109, Pricewise 46).

The two staking plans – for short odds on the one hand and big value on the other – have produced around 357 points profit.

That includes level stakes on the bankers at SP. Much more could have been gleaned for your wallet from BETDAQ early prices. And, once you were convinced by the massive strike-rate, you could have changed your staking plan to a ‘stepping stakes plan’ to capitalise on the constant stream of winners.

Cheltenham seems far away but it’s happening now. Trial races are here and every stable in two countries is gearing up to target the Cotswold arena. We must do the same.

Each trainer can use only one stable. We can use the best of all stables to follow horses – and races – which light up the path to the festival. Watch out for more details.

HERE’S A HOBBS WINNER FREE OF CHARGE

WARWICK NAP From Philip Hobbs current leading stable, Free Of Charge (12.40) improved for the switch to hurdles and Stowaways love soft ground.

Jayo Time is claimed off to nullify some of his weight rise but, though its early days for this field, all his form is right-handed.

FAIRYHOUSE Another Stowaway, Outlander (1.05) is a chaser of the future. He’ll love the ground but this comeback run after 574 days off is a sharpener for his debut over fences shortly.

And all bar Fiddlers Way below him on the card, are being claimed off and in receipt of between 11lb and a stone. There could be a turn-up from among those unexposed horses.

But I’m putting my euro on Mike McCann, a tearaway who set up a long lead at Cork (2m 4f) at the start of the month under Robbie Colgan.

He didn’t last the trip that day but, dropped back to 2m, with Robbie retaining the ride, could make this field play catch-up, which won’t be easy on dead ground.

HEXHAM The grey Persian Herald (3.20) looks disguised. Ignore his first run back, as ever. Forget his Southwell effort on the last day; it wasn’t his ground. And both those start-out races were over a trip too far.

Brought back to 2m in conditions that suit, Persian Herald is ‘wrong’ at 16.0 on BETDAQ this morning, with Sue Smith poised for a return to form.

Voyage A New York is the obvious one among the shorter prices, but Tikkandemickey, claimed off and hooded first time, hasn’t been out of the frame in seven starts on this course and is another who could set them a target.

LINGFIELD Roger Charlton has a stunning 60% strike rate, win and place, on AW and Major Jack (2.00) still looked to have plenty of scope when travelling well to win at Kempton on the last day.

TRY ‘TRUST’ FOR CLASSY BETDAQ LISTED

3.50 Kempton Park (Betdaq £30 Free Bet And 3% Comm Handicap) Layers have cleaned up in this one over five seasons with winners hard to find, returning SPs of 20-1 (twice), 14-1, 10-1 and 8-1.

It’s equally noticeable that those winners were young horses high in the handicap (9st 4lb), clearly having shown a bit of form over the others, despite the reluctance to back them.

Leonard Thomas wasn’t given a hard time, third at Lingfield at the end of last month (Little Buxted second) after a year off.

6.25 Kempton Park (Cash Out On The Betdaq+ App/EBF Stallions Hyde Park Listed Stakes) This is a £40,000-guarantee classy contest with classy horses in keeping, even attracting a raider from one of France’s top stables.

Captain Cat was racing off 86 on AW last time he won over this CD 13 months back. Since August he’s been Group racing on the Flat (two wins), and his rating has soared to 115 on turf.

Graphic, who won over CD here two months earlier than Captain Cat, has been keeping Pattern company, too, winning a Group-3 at Maisons.

Graphic’s trainer, William Haggas also saddles the royal runner, Prince’s Trust, whom he holds in high regard, but so far has kept hto handicaps. But he beat Intransigent at Lingfield at the end of October before that one won a Listed, and Trust looks the improver of this race.

Baltic Knight has tried a Listed at Newmarket and failed but was winner of his only AW race on today’s course in 2012.

Alain De Royer-Dupre’s raider, Cladocera, yet another Group performer in this terrific contest, is an each-way price at 15.0, here swerving the soft ground in France.

6.55 Kempton Park (Betdaq 50% Commission Refund Handicap) Chiberta King hasn’t won at so short a trip since 2011 and Noble Gift has never scored off so high a mark.

Desert Snow is testing the water. He’s not bred to go this far. So it is that I shall side with Buckland, whose Kempton form since February 2013 is 11123.

7.25 Kempton Park (Betdaq Commission Free Football On Saturdays Handicap) Charles Hill’s Xinbama is tasty at 8.0 under Frankoe Dettori, as a winner last time he was dropped to this level. Back of the net!
