RYAN LOOKING TO FOLLOW UP: Tipster HQ had a big Wednesday but look what’s around the corner. The FA Cup, the one competition that has stymied this corner all season. Well here’s the deal Betdaq punters. The bad run ends now. Let’s pick some winners.

We begin with the last game of the weekend but the game that is also unquestionably the biggest on the docket. Louis Van Gaal’s last shot at silverware this season is the FA Cup. Arsenal still have dreams in the Champions League but barring a miracle in Monaco, this is also their best chance of taking home a trophy. It’s not like Man United vs Arsenal ever needs extra stakes but there’s an awful lot on the line here.

For Arsenal, there’s one awfully important piece of good news. It is no longer February. To steal a line from WWE commentators, business is about to pick up. United had their chances to finish Newcastle long before Ashley Young managed to stay on his feet long enough to net the winner on Wednesday but Van Gaal’s charges relied far too much on David De Gea to keep them out of trouble. I don’t see them getting quite so lucky on Monday night. It may be Old Trafford and Arsenal’s record there may be terrible but this is the night the Gunners come out all guns blazing. Bet on Arsenal to win at 3.05.

Liverpool have arguably the easiest tie of the round, with Blackburn paying a visit to Anfield on Sunday afternoon. The Reds have started their charge and, although it isn’t always pretty, the punters are finally starting to realise that this is a team that can and will deliver. The downside of that is the outright is off the table here, with no value to be found, but the alternative markets still offer room to go in heavy on Liverpool. Bet on Liverpool/Liverpool at 1.88 on the Half-time/Full-time.

Finally we turn to the battle of the two EPL teams who you would think are just happy to be here. You may very well think that, you would also be wrong. Aston Villa’s interest in the FA Cup evaporated as soon as Villa’s relegation battle became an actual real thing and not just something to keep the season interesting for a few months. They need this game as much as they need a punch in the face. West Brom on the other hand seem to really want to go deep here, especially considering their performance last time out. I’m going with the Baggies for sure. Bet on West Brom to win at 2.92.
