MULTIMAN STARTS CHELTENHAM WITH A DOUBLE: It’s an Arkle and Champion Hurdle BETDAQ MULTIPLES double for our tipster who has shown a profit for seven consecutive months.
The day has finally arrived – let’s give one huge roar for the start of Cheltenham 2015.
I’m not going to gain any awards for originality on day one, but if, like me, you strongly fancy rising stars Un De Sceaux and Faugheen to win the Arkle and Champion Hurdle respectively then a multiples bet should be considered.
The BETDAQ MULTIPLES odds of 3.79 make great appeal – certainly more so than backing them independently on the win market.
Put simply, if odds-on shot Un De Sceaux wins the Arkle, as expected, you’ll have a voucher at around 11/4 on Faugheen in the Champion Hurdle.
It’s a prime example of two short ones suddenly looking attractive when combined in a double.
Of course, there are inherent dangers with both selections – but you’d face those anxieties with a substantial win bet too – but at much shorter odds than the double proposition.
