The Listed Salsabil Stakes for fillies is the feature race at Navan today and it looks quite a competitive race with an entry of ten.
Best bet might well be Summaya to continue the excellent recent spell for trainer Dermot Weld.
She bolted in by six lengths to win her maiden at Cork and fully deserves to take this step up in class. She looks set to build on that run and current fitness certainly isn’t a problem.
There’s a whole stack of dangers but probably most notably Pleascach who won her maiden well at Leopardstown last July but hasn’t been seen since and faces much softer ground today.
