I’m looking at this weekend’s games and I see potential slip ups everywhere! Although it might look like all the big teams should get wins because there are no big fixtures, it is far from that in my eyes, as it is a week where many could easily slip up. I think they are very tricky to call this week, and many of the prices aren’t very good either, so I want to look at games where there will actually be some value.

WATFORD’S ATTACK THE DIFFERENCE
I’m going for Watford in this one, I have been high on them over the last few weeks, and I will stick on their side to get a result. They have been playing good attacking football as of late, and for me that will be the difference between the two teams. When you compare the pedigree of the Watford and Norwich strikers, I think Watford easily come up trumps in this one. There is no doubt that between Deeney and Ighalo, you have a lot more goals in your strikers than you do in Hooper and Jerome.

Not only is it the quality of the strikers, if you also look at the way both teams go out to play you would have to go for Watford in this one. They really go out to try and score goals, they play a good brand of football, with an attacking style. In contrast, Norwich are very much set up to try and stop teams from scoring. They are far more defensive since shipping six goals against Newcastle earlier this season, and will continue to try and stop the opposition from scoring rather than going out to bag their own goals.

I think Watford’s attacking style will beat the defensive style of Norwich, although I would often go for a defensive team to get a result. I think that Watford attackers will have enough to gran a goal or two, and can’t see Norwich being able to reply. They can be had for a pretty good price at home this weekend and really think they have enough to bag a couple of goals and grab the win.

SPURS TO CONTINUE IMPRESSIVE FORM
I really really like Spurs this year, they are playing some very exciting football. This is definitely one of the best Spurs sides I have seen in the past few years, when you look at the entire team rather than a couple of individuals. They are also much more balanced than they have been in years past, which is excellent to see.

This side is much harder to beat now, they aren’t as naive as many of the recent Spurs sides. They have some electrifying players going forward in Dele Alli, Erikson, Lamela and obviously Harry Kane. Then to add some solidity to their team they have Dembele who has been integral to the team, and the centre back partnership of Vertonghen and Alderweireld has looked very strong this year.

On the other side, Tony Pulis’ team is really hard to get! They are so up and down this year, even within 90 minutes they are prone to change so much. Look at last week for example, they were absolutely brutal for the first 30 minutes of the game, and then completely turned things around and played some great football. They are just a very difficult team to figure out, are they a bad side or are they a good team who aren’t playing to their potential, I’m just not sure at this stage.

I think this is a fantastic match up for Spurs this weekend, I certainly can’t see them going through this game without scoring. The fact that Spurs are such a good all round complete team, in great form I think they can win this comfortably. West Brom will not be able to get away with playing up and down in this game, as when they are not playing well Spurs will tear them apart.

LEICESTER’S LUCK TO RUN OUT
I think this is a very interesting game this weekend. We have two sides at the complete opposite sides of the spectrum. On one hand you have Leicester who are flying high near the top of the league, and on the other side you have Swansea who are in terrible form and may be falling into the relegation battle.

I am going to say that both teams fortunes will turn around this weekend. I think Swansea are too good of a side to be struggling as much as they have been. If you were to look at this fixture last season the price for Swansea would have been nowhere near what it is now, I think it would have been closer to the quality of these two teams. Swansea really haven’t had any luck this year, sure they have played poorly but when they have played good football they haven’t been able to get results.

Leicester are the complete opposite of this, they have been getting a lot of luck this season. Don’t get me wrong they have been excellent, particularly Vardy, but they are flying very high recently and are due a fall. I see this as the game that will turn things around for Swansea. They have goals in this team, Gomis, Ayew, Montero and Sigurdsson can all grab goals and need to begin to do so. Times are getting desperate for Gary Monk, so expect him to get everything from his players this weekend.
