FOUR OUT OF FOUR: Four recommended bets and THEY ALL WON on Sunday for a profit of around 20 points.

WASHED OUT: His other selection in the Sussex National was washed up with the weather – the card was abandoned after just three races. DAQMAN said in the morning the ground was on the ‘heavy side of heavy’. He should have said the ‘abandoned side of heavy’.

QUIET START TO THE WEEK: After the Festive Feast comes the famine – a quiet start to the week but DAQMAN has found bets at all three venues on Monday.

3rd JANUARY – 100% CLEAN SWEEP

DAQMAN’s four recommended bets ALL WON including a BETDAQ MULTIPLES double

LEADING TO SCORE AT LAST

The second division of the maiden hurdle at Musselburgh looks weaker than the first and it surely presents Leading Score with the perfect chance to record a first National Hunt win.

The James Ewart trained runner showed ability in bumpers and has since finished third in both starts over hurdles. He finished a creditable third at 40/1 on his jumping debut at Ayr and then finished in the same position behind Chitu here last time. The key today is the drop back in trip to a distance just short of two miles.

Carthage is second favourite but was beaten a long way at Catterick on debut, although is another who will be suited by the drop in trip.

GOLDEN TOUCH AT LUDLOW

Venetia Williams is in mixed form at the moment – there doesn’t appear to be any middle ground though – they are either running brilliantly or poorly. Supporters will be hoping it’s the former in the case of Monetary Fund who might take a lot of beating in the 1.35 at Ludlow.

The ten-year-old looks on a winning mark at 113 from a career peak of 132 and showed enough at Kempton last time out to suggest a win is around the corner. He finished third to Lady Of Longstone over a slightly longer trip. But there is a key problem and it’s of course the ground. He hasn’t performed as well on testing ground in the past and this will be the worse ground he has EVER experienced. On this factor alone I have to look elsewhere.

Arctic Gold seems the obvious alternative. He bids for a hat-trick and is making his handicap debut after a win on heavy ground at Bangor last time out. This longer trip should suit and he looks a good bet at around 4.1 on BETDAQ at the time of writing.

EXENTRICITY TO SPARK IN FINALE

Tight looking fillies handicap to close the Wolverhampton card and preference goes to Exentricity who was an easy course and distance winner last month. The Mick Channon trained runner is up 6lb but still very much on the upgrade.

DAQMAN’S BETS (Staked 1-9pts on strength, 10pts for a Banker)
BET 9pts win (nap) LEADING SCORE (12.50 Musselburgh)
BET 6pts win ARCTIC GOLD (1.35 Ludlow)
BET 5pts win EXENTRICITY (5.10 Wolverhampton)
