My nap, Captain Joy, bolted home at 11/1 in the Ladbrokes All-Weather Mile Championships Conditions Stakes. Sadly I was only on in the place market but still a decent return from the only bet of the day.
Cork stage a flat card on Saturday and the best bet looks to be Clear Cut in the opener but he won’t be an 11/1 shot !!
He was a little disappointing when second to Bear Faced at Dundalk but the benefit of that run will bring him on a lot and Jim Bolger is always adept at making a flying start to the new season.
A Likely Story was placed in two starts as a two-year-old and is fitted with a visor for his seasonal reappearance and the Dermot Weld trained runner is the danger.
