PLACE PAYS: SHAMROCK’S switch to the BETDAQ place market paid dividends yesterday when he Dundalk place nap was second at 5/1.
The script worked out yesterday !!! I was keen on Ionisation in the BETDAQ place market and she finished second at 5/1.
Trading at around 3 at the time of recommendation she shortened to around 2.3 at the off but that’s still around about an 11/8 WINNING NAP from a horse that finished second !!!

There’s a jumps card at Clonmel tonight and big fields are generally the order of the night across the eight race card. The ground is definitely getting faster. It’s good and good to firm in places.
It looks very tricky but I’ll take a chance with Cliffside Park in the 6.00. His second place last time out is a little bit of a red herring as it came in a chase where only three finished but he has run well here at Clonmel before and goes on the faster surface too. He faces rivals who are generally a long way short of their best and this might be his for the taking.
Class dropper Princely Conn is the favourite. He acts on the better ground but has been beaten by an aggregate of 331 lengths in his last seven races so it’s quite hard to get a handle on his current ability.
