4 WINNING NAPS FROM LAST 6: SHAMROCK’s short priced double came home yesterday in style when his NAP and NEXT BEST won by 13 lengths and 75 lengths at Ballinrobe.
They were never going to be big prices, as mentioned yesterday, but Glens Harmony (NAP) and Tocororo both romped home at Ballinrobe.
Tocororo won by an astonishing 75 lengths and then Glens Harmony fulfilled the promise she had shown at Punchestown when winning the closing bumper.
When you do play at odds-on this is the sort of race comment you like to read afterwards….
“Tracked leaders, headway into 3rd 3f out, led travelling well 2f out, went clear on-bridle 1f out, stayed on strongly, easily, impressive”
We didn’t get rich at 4/9 and 2/5 but the BETDAQ MULTIPLES double was recommended as well to make things a little more rewarding.
Back to Ballinrobe today and again hopefully saving the best until last.
Nina Carberry and Gordon Elliott combine with Sanibel Island in the bumper. He was second on debut at Down Royal to She’s A Star. The Sneaky Punter who finished fifth in that race has won since.
It was heavy at Down Royal and the better ground tonight should suit Sanibel Island better.
He sets the bar reasonably high for some interesting debutants to aim at.
