EURO 2016 TUESDAY PREVIEW: Just two games on Tuesday. Austria play Hungary at 5pm and then Portugal face Iceland who are competing in their first major tournament at 8pm.

Austria v Hungary

5pm Not a game that will set many pulses racing however Austria look like a good bet here at around the 1.78 mark, they went unbeaten in qualifying in a group with Russia and Sweden, and while both those sides played relatively poor in their games so far at Euro 2016, Hungary only finished third in a much weaker group that Northern Ireland topped. Hungary also only scored 11 goals in the Group stages of qualifying and including the playoffs, they were the team with the lowest goal difference of any team that made it through to the tournament. We don’t see Hungary scoring so some bets appeal, Austria clean sheet is 2.0, while under 2.5 goals is 1.63. There’s not much between an Austria win at 1.78 and an Austrian clean sheet at 2.0 for our best bet, but with an gone with an Austria win at 1.78.

BETDAQ best bet:
Austria to beat Hungary at 1.78.

Portugal v Iceland

8pm A tricky game to weigh up from a betting point of view with Portugal currently at 1.53 as we write. They should have too much class for this Iceland side however they strike you as a side that you can’t fully trust and at 1.53, it’s probably one to pass up on – useless maybe you want to take advantage of the enhanced double on Austria and Portugal at 2.76 on BETDAQ and get a bit of value.

Iceland came through want appeared to be the toughest qualifying group that featured Czech Republic, Turkey and Holland – with Holland eventually being the ones that missed out, Iceland finished that group poorly it must be said, with draws against Kazakhstan and Latvia, along with losing to Turkey, so it’s hard to see them beating this Portugal side. We do think Portugal will win however at 1.53, that’s too short to back – it could be a cagey enough game with Iceland happy to sit back, and on balance under 2.5 goals might be the best option at around the 1.68 mark.

BETDAQ best bet:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.68.

Football-Portugal
