Stellar Mass landed the NAP at a juicy 7/2 last night when taking up the running late on to beat Almela in the featured Ballyroan Stakes at Leopardstown.
The big race tonight is the Coolmore Canford Cliffs Stakes at Tipperary where the ground is yielding to soft.
Three unbeaten runners go to post but the favourite is likely to be Capri for Aidan O’Brien. He followed up a promising debut when winning a maiden easily at the Galway Festival where he was sent off the 2/7 favourite.
Ger Lyons has won the last two runnings of this and he saddles Boyfriend Brian here who has won both his starts but this is much tougher.
Capri looks a worthy favourite but with so many likely to find improvement it’s a race for me to watch.
A safer bet looks to be Decisive Intent in the following race at 6.25pm. The John Oxx trained filly ran a cracker at Galway when runner-up to Butterflies and should lose her maiden tag in this company.
