Woods Well can put his experience to good use against two interesting debutants in the closing bumper at Thurles on Thursday.
The Gordon Elliott trained runner finished second at Naas on debut in January but hasn’t raced since. He was beaten by Articulum who went on to win his next start at Limerick too.
He’s trading at around 5.6 on BETDAQ at the time of writing which looks tempting.
Sharps Choice (Willie Mullins) and Admiral Chief (Mouse Morris) are the obvious dangers but both are making their debuts and it looks a coin flip between the pair as to which one is likely to prove best first time out.
With that in mind I prefer Woods Well and the experience factor.
