SATURDAY PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with the highlight very much being Liverpool v Man City at 5.30pm. Check out our recommended BETDAQ bet for each game.

Burnley v Sunderland

3pm David Moyes left Old Trafford with no points on Boxing to leave Sunderland with six losses from their last seven home games, and with Burnley performing far better at home than away, home advantage should see Burnley get the win here. Burnley had to grind out a 1-0 win last time out at home to Middlesbrough, however Middlesbrough have been very solid at the back this season so it was no surprise that the game turned out to be a little dull. Sunderland’s defense should offer up more chance for Burnley and at around 2.48, they look to be a big price to win against the struggling Sunderland.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Burnley to beat Sunderland at 2.48.

Chelsea v Stoke

3pm You can’t help but feel that Stoke are the next lambs to the slaughter coming up against Chelsea who have now won all of their last 12. Chelsea currently trade around 1.28 and you won’t get rich backing that price so we’re going to look around for a bit of value. We can’t get away from the fact that Chelsea have kept ten clean sheets in those 12 wins – it’s an incredibly impressive stat and it shows how well organized Conte has them. Stoke are without a win in their last four and while Chelsea on the handicap is appealing, we feel that the best bet here in a Chelsea clean sheet at 1.85.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Chelsea to keep a clean sheet at 1.85.

Leicester v West Ham

3pm Leicester were bitterly disappointing yet again when losing 2-0 at home to Everton on Boxing Day, and now find themselves sitting in 16th in the league – what a turnaround from last season. That was the seventh time in eight matches that they’ve conceded two or more, and now have only one win in nine – when Manchester City were all over the place at the back. This weekend is probably a good time to back West Ham to win too, they’ve won their last three and the last one was a nice confidence boosting 4-1 away win at Swansea. With the way Leicester have been at the back, backing over 2.5 goals wouldn’t be a bad idea – but we prefer to take the 3.8 on a West Ham win which looks massive.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
West Ham to beat Leicester at 3.8.

Manchester United v Middlesbrough

3pm Manchester United have no doubt improved this month and are now nine games unbeaten while winning their last four. If they are to keep up their hopes of making the top 4 this season, they’ll have to be winning games this – but this will give us a good guide as to where Manchester United are performance wise. Middlesbrough have proven tough to beat away from home this season – most notably leaving Arsenal and Manchester City with draws while only conceding one goal in those two games. There’s no doubt they will come here to defend, and it will be a good test to see how United can break them down. With this in mind, we feel that backing under 2.5 goals is the best bet at 2.06 – it may take a while for United to get the breakthrough, if they actually do.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.06.

Southampton v West Brom

3pm Southampton were thrashed by Spurs on Wednesday night and will be looking to bounce back straight away here against West Brom. The problem is though, Southampton have been poor going forward without Charlie Austin and with the way West Brom set up, we can’t see life being easy for Southampton here. Chelsea and Arsenal could only manage 1-0 wins in West Brom’s last two games and we fully expect them to keep Southampton quiet for the majority of the game here. The Southampton lay at 1.8 is very tempting but with under 2.5 goals trading 1.7 – we feel that offers the best value in what should be a very tight affair.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.7.

Swansea v Bournemouth

3pm Swansea lost their third game in a row last time out against West Ham and that proven to be the straw that broke the camels back for Bob Bradley who lasted just 85 days as manager. They’ve now conceded 19 goals in their last six matches and that includes a clean sheet against Sunderland! They’ve had over 2.5 goals in all of their last six and looking at Bournemouth’s games – we expect goals here. Bournemouth have seen over 2.5 goals in five of their last six and this one being tough to call match odds wise after the sacking of Bradley – over 2.5 goals looks the play at 1.83.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.83.

Liverpool v Manchester City

5.30pm Undoubtedly the clash of the weekend, and this should be a cracker! Both teams have come under heavy criticism of the way in which they have defended at times this season and it will be interesting to see how both approach this one. It’s worth noting that both teams have scored in seven of the last eight meetings, so you’ll get an awful lot of people wanting to back goals here. Another thing in favour of goals is City’s record away from home this season – they’ve won seven of their nine but only kept two clean sheets in those games. We do feel that there will be goals here, but at 1.72 over 2.5 looks a bit skinny. Liverpool have no doubt been impressive this season, but with City’s away record we feel that it’s worth backing them at 3.15.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City to beat Liverpool at 3.15.
