PREMIER LEAGUE WEDNESDAY: We preview Wednesday’s Premier League game between MAN CITY v STOKE with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

8pm While many people will be focused on the Champions League tonight, we have Manchester City v Stoke on Sky Sports 1 at 8pm to enjoy as well! City are on a great run at the moment – they’re currently unbeaten in their last nine, winning seven of those. And lets not forget that they’ve only lost once at home all season, and that was against league leaders Chelsea, so it should be a tough night ahead for Stoke. City are obviously short in the market, trading 1.24 at the time of writing, with Stoke 14.5 and the draw 7.4.
Stoke enjoyed a comfortable 2-0 win at home to Middlesbrough at the weekend, however it’s hard to know what to make of that as Middlesbrough are without a win in ten and have been pretty poor lately. Stoke have been solid at home, however their away form might be a more telling sign of what’s to come tonight. They’ve lost five of their last six away from home, and while these games did come against the bigger sides, they are playing City here after all.
We feel that City can run riot here with an early goal. Stoke recently lost 4-0 away to Spurs, while they also conceded four to both Chelsea and Liverpool over the Christmas period too away from home. We expect more of same here and with City in great form too, Any Other Home Win (City to score 4 or more and win) looks good value at 3.7.
