FAIRYHOUSE NAP: SHAMROCK’S NAP on Wednesday runs in the six furlong maiden at 4.05pm.
The nap was withdrawn yesterday.
At Fairyhouse this afternoon Invincible Ryker should prove hard to beat in the six furlong maiden at 4.05pm.
Trained by Mick Halford, the three-year-old was a close second to Knowing You (winner of a handicap subsequently) in the mud at Roscommon last time out and steps back a furlong this afternoon.
The Jim Bolger trained Focus On Heaven was only narrowly beaten on her debut at Naas last October but hasn’t raced since and with the best part of a year off the track may just need this.
Littlevix could be the biggest danger. She has gone close on all three starts in races that were just as tough as today’s contest looks.
Hark was fourth here on debut over seven furlongs and might find this on the sharp side.
