PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet kicking off with WEST HAM v CHELSEA at 12.30pm.
WEST HAM V CHELSEA
12.30pm Life doesn’t get any easier for West Ham! Although they did perform very well against Manchester City last weekend, however City edged them out towards the end as they have been doing lately. It’s hard to see a West Ham win here though, especially considering that Chelsea are in good form. West Ham have gone eight games without a win now, and five of those have been losses. The fact that all bets are 0% commission on BETDAQ here makes Chelsea look massive at 1.52 – at the time of writing that is the best value anywhere so we’re happy to take advantage of the 0% commission 12-30PM game and back Chelsea.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Chelsea to beat West Ham at 1.52.

BURNLEY V WATFORD
3pm Burnley have only had two losses in their last 12 games, however both those losses have came in their last three. Both these sides have been in good form in the Premier League this season, and it’s not a surprise to see such an open market. The match odds at the time of writing trade; Burnley 2.66, Watford 3.1 and the draw is 3.3. The interesting market for a lot of punters here might be the over/under 2.5 goals market – Watford games have seen plenty however Burnley games have been short of goals. Unders is odds on at 1.71, while overs is 2.32. In Burnley’s seven home games here, they’ve only managed to score five – however we can’t commit to back unders in games involving Watford at the moment! We feel that Watford’s attacking spark will be the difference here and they can leave with at least a point – we’re happy to lay Burnley at 2.66.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Burnley at 2.66.

CRYSTAL PALACE V BOURNEMOUTH
3pm There have been definite signs of improvement under Hodgson, and now they have gone four games unbeaten. If you’re considering backing them at 2.1 here though, you have to consider that although they are building an unbeaten run – they have only won one of those four games. Bournemouth are just five points ahead of Palace in the table, however they are playing solid football at the moment, and have been beaten just three times in their last nine games. We feel that Palace are simply too short here at 2.1, and strongly feel that this game will be closer than those odds suggest – so we’re happy to lay Palace from a value point of view.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Crystal Palace at 2.1.

HUDDERSFIELD V BRIGHTON
3pm It wasn’t so long ago that this clash was in the Championship, however it may feel longer given the way the sides have played this season! Brighton have two more points than Huddersfield, and they sit in 12th and 16th position before this weekend. Huddersfield have definitely been struggling away from home, however at home they have been solid, almost impressive. They nearly got a result against City here, and they beat United. Judging them on their recent away form would be wrong here, and although Brighton are pretty solid – the odds on a home win here are too appealing to turn down.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Huddersfield to beat Brighton at 2.74.

SWANSEA V WEST BROM
3pm We have a very open market here, with the match odds at the time of writing; Swansea 2.76, West Brom 3.1 and the draw is 3.1. Swansea are currently bottom of the Premier League table, and with West Brom struggling at the moment – this is a really good chance for them to get all three points. The problem is, they are in woeful form – they have lost six of their last seven, with a draw in the other game. They also have the worst home record thus far this season, and have only managed one goal in their last five games. So while West Brom haven’t managed a win for 13 games, it’s very risky to start lumping on Swansea! There is certainly an angle into backing 0-0, however the draw makes appeal here at 3.1. With both sides struggling, we can see them cancelling each other out.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.1.

TOTTENHAM V STOKE
3pm Spurs are currently trading 1.31 for the win here – however with them only winning once in their last six Premier League games, are you brave enough to back those odds? Should they even be in BETDAQ Multiples? It’s a tough question to answer, they should outclass Stoke, however you could have said that about Watford, Leicester and West Brom too. There’s no doubt that Stoke can make life hard for Spurs here and sit behind the ball, so we like the Stoke option on the handicap. They’re currently trading 2.2 +1.5 goals and that looks too big.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Stoke +1.5 goals to beat Tottenham at 2.2.

NEWCASTLE V LEICESTER
5.30pm This is a very interesting TV game to finish the day, and we have a very open market too! The match odds at the time of writing read; Newcastle 2.72, Leicester 2.96 and the draw is 3.35. We have to say that straight off the bat, Leicester look great value at 2.96. Newcastle are without a win in their last six, and they’ve lost five of these games. Leicester are playing good football at the moment and have only suffered one loss in their last nine games and that came against Manchester City. They’ve recorded a win against Spurs in there too, although that was at home. It’s fair to say that they haven’t been as good away as they have been at home, however with Newcastle struggling we’re happy to take a chance on the odds with an away win.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Leicester to beat Newcastle at 2.96.
