WORLD CUP: We preview Saturday’s three World Cup games between BELGIUM v TUNISIA, SOUTH KOREA v MEXICO and GERMANY v SWEDEN each with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

BELGIUM V TUNISIA

1pm We kick off a very interesting day at the World Cup on Saturday with Belgium taking on Tunisia. Belgium ran out easy winners (in the second half!) against Panama in the first round of Group games while Tunisia nearly held England to a draw only for a last minute Harry Kane winner. Belgium will be expected to win this game easily and it’s a must win for Tunisia otherwise they’re heading home.

The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Belgium 1.39, Tunisia 11.0 and the draw is 5.1. It’s hard to see Tunisia getting anything from this game after watching them against England; they offered very little going forward and you’d have to expect similar here. Belgium have only conceded one goal in their last six games too, so we feel that they will cover the handicap here. They’re trading 2.3 -1.5 goals which looks massive and looks like the best bet of the day!

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Belgium -1.5 goals to beat Tunisia at 2.3.

SOUTH KOREA V MEXICO

4pm Mexico couldn’t have wished for a better start to their World Cup campaign with a 1-0 win over Germany! They would have went into that tie with confidence, but probably didn’t expect to win and they will arrive to play South Korea on a high here. South Korea failed to record a shot on target when losing to Sweden in their opening game and they look like one of the weaker sides in this World Cup.

Mexico look great value to win here, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; South Korea 6.2, Mexico 1.73 and the draw is 3.75. Having seen the first games from both sides, we can’t get away from Mexico here at 1.73 – that looks at least ten ticks too big for us, maybe even more. If they can repeat their performance at the back against Germany, we can’t see South Korea scoring and they have more than enough talent up front to find goals. The 1.73 on Mexico looks superb value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Mexico to beat South Korea at 1.73.

GERMANY V SWEDEN

7pm Germany find themselves under pressure going into their second Group game after losing their opener to Mexico. A win for Sweden here could see the Germans going home very early and that would be quite the shock for the reigning champions. Sweden come into this game with three straight clean sheets and they also managed to stop Italy from scoring over two legs in their Playoff to get here. This will be a test for Germany!

The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Germany 1.52, Sweden 7.8 and the draw is 4.6. Germany definitely look a little short at 1.52 – they had plenty of chances against Mexico but couldn’t find a goal; while we’ve already noted how good Sweden are at the back above. Laying Germany is an option; however under 2.5 goals looks really good value at 2.02 – we feel that this should be odds on. Sweden are rock solid at the back but they don’t score many – it’s hard to see Germany being too attacking from the start given their position – we see a very close and cagey game here and unders looks massive at slightly odds against.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.02.
