WON Evens Louis Treize (Tuesday high-stakes nap)

ASCOT, GALWAY, GOODWOOD BIG-RACE BONANZA: Look out tomorrow for full coverage of King George day at Ascot and then all next week with Daqman’s bets at two major meetings, the Galway festival and Glorious Goodwood.

THE MARKET THAT WORKS FOR YOU

Wait for it! BETDAQ offers a better bet for the King George, whether you are waiting to back or lay, this year more than ever.

How much rain, if any falls on Ascot, will decide the fate of Cracksman, and Saturday morning BETDAQ prices in the orange are sure to be value for every runner, with a low overround, as ever.

You can’t choose to lay Cracksman with bookmakers, and you can’t take a position on him then lay it off. Only on BETDAQ is it possible to make the King George market work for you.

PRODUCTION CAN PUT ON A SHOW

2.25 Ascot Mick Channon’s charmed year has had a bit of a lull but he’s been back in the last couple of days with every other runner winning.

I shall be punting Channon tonight whether or not he’s on the ball in this one with Lethal Guest, who may need the run on stamina-packed breeding. Channon hasn’t had an Ascot winner in almost three years now.

Richard Hannon (4.0 BETDAQ offer Production) has also been in much better form lately, and has won three of the last five runnings of this race.

Sir Michael Stoute’s two-year-olds haven’t got into their stride yet. His 500,000-guinea yearling Almania is by Australia, who has had only two juvenile winner in this, his first season.

MANCINI A WORTHY FAVOURITE

3.00 Ascot (Brown Jack Stakes) Favourites have won six times in seven seasons, and Mancini took over at the head of the BETDAQ market this morning, with offers of 3.1 to be taken.

American Gigolo (all three wins on AW) is an erratic performer, while the rest of the field seemingly has a preference for easy ground.

So much depends on the weather but, if the going remains on the firm side, front-running Mancini is likely to run them into the ground (pun intended)!

BE IN THE BLACK WITH BESHAAYIR

3.35 Ascot (Valiant Stakes) Beshaayir (2.68 BETDAQ favourite this morning) was impressive over the Ascot CD on the last day, and should go close in her quest for some black type in a race her stable has won twice in the last seven years.

Clon Coulis already has her black type, after a strong finish in a Pontefract Listed, yet she travels down from Yorkshire a 7.0 BETDAQ offer for this, albeit her trainer has three runners here today.

DON’T LET THIS ONE GO BEGGING

6.20 Chepstow Thriving won well on the stiff Beverley track and should appreciate the step up in trip but has to give 7lb to I’lletyougonow, who is around even money this morning.

That one was giving weight to a Newbury winner who was subsequently fifth in a blanket finish there for the Super Sprint. Third, also receiving weight, was Comeonfeeltheforce.
