As a tipster you don’t get many chances of a crack at 10 NAPS IN A ROW but fingers crossed the double figure bar can be breached on Saturday.
I’m saving my nap until the final race on the card – the bumper at 5.10pm.
At face value Fury Road’s debut under Rules at Leopardstown was a tad disappointing when he finished fifth having gone off a 6/4 chance having been a winner point to pointer.
However, it looks as though the race was a good deal better than it looked at the time.
The third Sempo came out to win by 15 lengths at Thurles, whilst the fourth placed Allaho won a Grade 3 at Clonmel and the runner-up Two Shoe Tom didn’t run badly in Grade 2 company back in Leopardstown.
In short, the form looks rock solid, and this looks a very modest event. Very happy to go along with Fury’s Road for ‘Project 10’.
