The grey Edelpour might be worth chancing again with the first time blinkers on.
The Andrew Fleming trained runner was twice a winner on the flat when trained by Dermot Weld and made a promising start over hurdles when third to Sometime Soon at Wexford.
He then finished fifth in a competitive Grade B handicap at Navan which was a good enough effort and he should find the drop back to maiden company easier – although he does have to give weight away because of his penalties for winning on the flat.
This doesn’t look the strongest of contests, hence the nap card being played on Edelpour. Biggest danger may come from State Of Cognac who put in a much better round at Fairyhouse last time out.
