LIMERICK NAP: After two naps out of four at Cheltenham at 6/1 and 2/1, SHAMROCK heads to Limerick for his NAP on Sunday.
A carefully selected Sunday nap – excuse the pun!
The Willie Mullins trained Carefully Selected looks the answer to the 2m 6f maiden hurdle at Limerick this afternoon.
The seven-year-old is back after a break but on bumper form should be able to outclass this field on his hurdling debut.
He was only beaten a neck by Relegate in last year’s Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival and went on to finish third in a Grade 1 bumper at Punchestown.
Captain CJ shaped well enough on his hurdling debut at Navan and is by far the biggest danger in a race big on numbers but short on serious contenders.
