LISTOWEL NAP: The action switches back to the jumps on Tuesday at Listowel and SHAMROCK’S NAP runs in the opener.
Lancaster House maintained his unbeaten record with a smooth win in the Listed Listowel Stakes yesterday and the Aidan O’Brien trained runner looks very much a future star.
He overcame stall 17 with ease and looks set to be campaigned next at Group level over 1m – 1m2f trips.
The nap, Mean Fomhair, was second but no match for impressive winner Angel’s Amy in the fillies handicap later in the card.
The Harvest Festival continues at Listowel today with the action switching back to the jumps for their seven race card.
Blazing Emily should prove hard to beat for Willie Mullins in the opening mares maiden hurdle at 2.05pm.
She makes her hurdling debut having already shown promise in bumpers and seems versatile ground wise.
She was beaten by Rocket Lad at Galway last time out who went on to run a big race before falling at the last next time out an Killarney on his hurdling debut so I think the form looks strong enough.
Barrington Court comes into this fresh and has good bumper form but is having her first start since finishing lame at Naas in January so is on a comeback mission.
SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Blazing Emily (2.05 Listowel)
