CHAMPIONS LEAGUE RETURNS TUESDAY: We preview Tuesday’s Champions League action between NAPOLI v LIVERPOOL and CHELSEA v VALENCIA with recommended BETDAQ bets.
NAPOLI V LIVERPOOL
8pm The Champions League finally returns on Tuesday night and we kick off our preview with the current Champions! Liverpool are now five points clear at the top of the Premier League but they face a difficult trip to Napoli to start their European campaign. The two sides actually met in the Group Stage last season and both came out on top with home advantage. Napoli won 1-0 here and Liverpool with the same scoreline at Anfield.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Napoli 3.3, Liverpool 2.34 and the draw is 3.65. There’s no doubt that Liverpool are in flying form at the start of the season and they are playing some excellent football. However we feel that they are simply too short at 2.34 to win away from home. Obviously Napoli beat them here last season, and it was a close game at Anfield too – we expect a very close game again here and we have to lay the 2.34 from a value point of view. It’s hard not to see Napoli making those odds look too short here.

CHELSEA V VALENCIA
8pm Chelsea finally clicked into gear in the Premier League at the weekend with five goals against Wolves. They came away from home too which was even more impressive. They have looked a little short of Top Four quality at the start of the season and it will be very interesting to see how they measure up in the Champions League. Valencia have had a poor start to La Liga with only four points from four games, although they did have to play Barcelona away from home already.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Chelsea 1.89, Valencia 4.7 and the draw is 3.8. The prices in the match odds market look pretty fair – Valencia generally struggle away from home however you wouldn’t want to lump on Chelsea at the moment. The weekend was a step forward, but we need to see more. The price we really like is over 2.5 goals at 2.0 – we feel this should be odds on. Both sides have seen plenty of goals in their games this season – especially Chelsea with their problems at the back and we can see plenty of action here.
