MONDAY BLUES: SHAMROCK looks ahead to today’s meeting at Galway with a NAP in the closing bumper at 7.15pm.
After a terrific days racing on the flat at The Curragh on Sunday the action switches back to the jumps for Monday’s card at Galway.
Patience might be the key and waiting for Blue Jacaranda in the closing mares bumper at 7.15pm.
The Willie Mullins trained runner was sent off favourite for her debut at Kilbeggan but could only finish a 12 length third to Mister Melia. It didn’t look the strongest form at the time but the runner-up Shanwalla came out to win next time out at Listowel.
Blue Jacaranda ran pretty green and should know plenty more about the game today and she looks a much more solid bet rather than the exposed looking Lady Of Elysium.
Interesting to note some early BETDAQ support for Lightning Skye who is bred for the job and has the considerable assistance of Lisa O’Neill in the saddle.
